| The PRISME datawarehouse (part of EATMP/DSA/AIM) collects data from various sources in view of producing a consolidated information, presenting different aspects of aviation in the ECAC area. COM 2/3 manages the allocation of VHF frequencies. Initially, this application was based on a client/server solution (Oracle Forms & Reports). This solution allowed users connected to the EUROCONTROL corporate network to gain access to the central database. This Project covers the migration of COM 2/3 application towards the new generic GID technology. The principal steps include the development of an HTML HMI replicating the Forms interface, the development of Oracle Business Components to communicate with the database and the exploitation of the generic repository to provide the necessary functionality and navigation. The existing Oracle reports must be callable from the new applications. |
